I've just finished talking to my mechanic and he asked me about the pistons offset or something like that. He wants to make sure that the rods don't hit the block. I don't know what he is talking about so I need some help. I got those sexy CP pistons from www.tearstone.com and crower rods.

So there isn't any such thing as a piston offset. Thank you Russ and Bobbi.

Thanks, I hope the Ac and the belt are bolted on correctly. My mechanic told me to drive around with the AC on for a while that way the idle will correct itself but so far it is still doing it.

She is running really smooth. I'm loving the cluch/flywheel/lsd combo. Like I said before, when the car is not moving and I turn on the AC the rpm's go down and the car dies.
What next? A lot. I have all this stuff with me:

and I'm still waiting for the turbo kit that I bought from TPS.

The car is decent, you don't seem like the tyoe of guy to have a blitz kit - you seem to be smarter than that. I like the mods you have though, you'll be hauling ass soon anyway.

I imagine once he gets everything in order he'll change the body kit around to match what's going on under the hood

Finally after 2 days of driving my car my ECU corrected the idle itself and now my AC doesn't make my car turn off. One thing I've noticed is that my car is using a lot more gas than usual. Is this normal?

I don't think I'm going to change my body kit any time soon. The only thing I don't like that much about it is the side skirts but I'm happy with the agressive look. A lot of people look at the blitz kit as rice or cheap that's just the stereotype. IMO Agressive doesn't always mean ricy as long as you don't over kill it.

Not even if I'm running colder plugs a lower compression and .040 overbore? What could be wrong? Do you think the ECU will fix it itself?

Nah it should be seamless. The ECU should not have to compensate for something that is wrong, but it might eventually adapt.

So I took my car to the track last week and I ran a 10 flat on the 1/8 mile. Not that bad for a car with 8.8.1 compression pistons.

The engine is running super smooth and I didn't lose as much power as I though I was going to lose. In the other hand, I'm still waiting for freaking GCT to finish getting the turbo kit together so that is on hold for now. Lastly, I'm waiting for my mechanic to give me an appointment that way I could get the Haltech running with the car.

I'm still using the stock ECU. I didn't get a SAFC because I wanted a stand alone.

Nice, your fuel trims are all still on? Sweet, mine were a little off after I did my head.

Update. A pic of what I just got in the mail. I'm still looking for 550cc RC peak and hold fuel injectors. After that, I'm installing the Haltech with the fuel upgrades.

So far, the sexi beast is running strong, also I got a Diamante intake manifold, but I'm still waiting for the turbo kit.

Well, I went to (R.P.M) a local shop around here and It was a dyno day so I desided to dyno my car before installing the turbo and Haltech so here is the dyno sheet and a little vid. I was surprised because my car only has a fidanza flywheel, cone filter and a magnaflow fart can for power adders and the engine has the low compression 8.8.1 cp pistons so I was expecting like 10hp less than stock.
