There is a latch in the top corner of each seat, just cick them and they fold down. That is all mine are, are folded down.

I was thinking of painting black, with a Diamond Star in the middle, but that has already been done. So I will prob just paint it black and call it good.

Well, my big install is done.

My switch over from my OEM GT-P Intake manny to the Diamante manifold and 65 mm Throttle body. Here are a few pics from the install, and then the finished product are below.

The main install took place at the MI Install Meet back in the middle of June. Dave (Dr. 9023G) came up from OH and gave a hand on the install. It was a fairly quick install with only a couple of things that went wrong...A bolt twisted off and a stud wasn't long enough for a bracket, not a big deal.

The car made it home fine with no codes or problems at all, and the throttle responce was noticed as soon as she was started, it was beautiful...Kind of afraid that she is going to suck more gas though, but as long as I stay out of her, I shouldn't have any problems.

After I got her home, it was time to address some of the issues that had happend during the install that I couldn't take care of at Nate's house. Also, she threw a code by this time, it was a P1400 (Manifold Differential Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction ). I found this out by going to Advanced Auto and having them read it, since I haven't bought a OBD2 code reader yet....Again easy fix, funny thing is I wanted to change the sensor out at the meet, but was told that the one that was in the D-mani would be just fine.

Another thing that was a pain and I didn't like, was how the battery and the CAI were way too close and rubbed a lot. This prob would also be addressed, along with a tad bit more grinding since the TB still rubbed against the firewall.

Here are some pics of the install as Iwas addressing my problems.

Here you can see the difference between my INJEN elbow compaired to the one Dave sent me, which is AEM. A lot closer tolerance.

Another prob was rubbing the firewall and strut tower bar.

Here is a pic of the area I had to grind out....In which I had to sand down the bar and repaint.

Finished up on the 4th, since I worked all week, it was the only day I had time to work on her.

..For the broke bolt and short stud, I will be making an appt. with my dealer to have my mechanic remove and retap that are for me.

Have to keep them in business too. I also have to put the rest of my intake together, but durning the install one of the rubber hangers were damaged so I have one on the way...Shorty for a bit.

I don't know how you pull off the Sportline springs with the WW kit. I have the ProKit on my ride, and I'm switching over to Tein H. Techs. It's just too much struggle to avoid the scraping.

It take a lot of going at it slow. I have scrapped a little since the front was repainted, but I really take my time to go over some of the inclines.

Hope so man, it will be a great B2N this year.

1. None of the techs will ever know, not like they memorize each and every car's engine bay.

2. As many STS classes as I have won, I doubt anyone needs to worry about it.

Well, it was a pain the first time to get it off and fit it to the bumper, so now it was just easy for me to keep it on the car.

Yea, it was done by myself, dad even helped a bit with the sanding. Body work is fun and is about the same as wood and drywall work. Spreading filler is just like spreading drywall mud, although I am a lot better at DW mud than filler. I ran into some problems with the easy sand after I used the plastic filler, I kept getting little holes. I filled and sanded and felt I got them all. I am sure it isn't as top notch as Hijacker's, but again my car is not a show car, so I dont have to be as picky.

That was only suposta be a temp fix guys....A temp fix that ended up being 3 years.

those little holes are caused by trapped air bubbles from stirring the filler with setter, try folding the mix together and using less of the setting agent so you can let it set for a couple of minutes to let the air out before applying. its better to have it set slowly than set too fast.

Not too bad if I dont say so myself. Dad gave me a hand which made it a lot easier. Now I have a few things to do before it goes in for 120K service this Wed. I want to paint the calipers Red (they are kind of a dark blue now) and then throw on my summer wheels.

I will have more pics up as I get closer to having my girl ready for B2N9.

Yesterday was well spent at my dealership doing the "120K Service", I'll just give you a bit of what all went down.

Replaced.....
- Timing Belt
- Water Pump
- Plugs
- Plug Wires
- Cap and Rotor
- Surp Belt + Alt Belt
- Tensioners
- Bolts for the intake that snapped on the 65mm install, and a stud was lengthened.

Not to mention the Crank and Cam seals were bad so them needed to be replaced. Also the Valve cover gaskets and rubber sleves ( protect the plugs and plug wires from the oil) were getting bad so they were replaced as well. After a nice day and a not so nice bill

(I did get a discount so that helped out a bit), my car is ready for another 60K.

As for today, I just finished up installing my Ingalls Torque Damper and I have to tell you that thing is awesome! If you haven't yet bought one, it better be next on your list!

So now all I have yet to do is get her all cleaned up and she will be ready for B2N9.
