Here are a few shots of my engine bay, magnaflow muffler, and drilled and slotted rotors.

I am going to take if off soon. I put it on there when i saw a guy under my car in a wal-mart parking lot trying to figure out what kind it was. I was also being asked what kind it was from a lot of people so i put the sticker on.

Good thing you are going to remove that sticker, because it takes away from the overall beauty of the car =) Great work!

Shocking update. My car was hit yesterday while it was parked in a parking lot away from other cars. I will post pictures once I get it back from the shop. A lady backed into my car and damaged the hood, front bumper, and support frame. I am in the process of working out a deal with the body shop to instal my shine street kit while it is in the shop. I should have my car back in a week and a half if the kit is installed.

I'm just now reading your thread and you have a beautiful car. I'm not a BIG fan of the wheels but they do look good on the 3G. What caught my eyes are the painting of the interior, I really like that. I'm ready and I know your ready to see the car with the SS kit on it. Keep up the good work!

I love these wheels. I plan on powder coating them black with a red lip. On a side note, I am going to go by the body shop and take a few pictures and post them tomorrow.

The only click I hear is when the car comes to a complete stop. Is that a bad thing? I always thought it was just the brake pads making contact with the rotors.

Good looking car. Sorry though, that is a terrible attempt at a blurry background picture. It looks like your car is a toy car and the focused part doesn't even include the whole car.

Keep working on both though.

Those were my old lights. I have a new set that I had tinted by rapman3001@yahoo.com. The lights I have on the car now are professionally tinted. If you like the tint on them, send rapman3001@yahoo.com an email and let him know you are from club3g and he'll give you a good deal.

Here are some picture of my car after the accident

Here are some picture with the new hood. It makes me want an oem carbon fiber hood.

The kit will not be molded since this is still a daily driven car.

I got the kit back from the shop today and I thought I could save some money by installing the kit myself but I was actually having a hard time installing it. I am going to let the pros do it, so its back to the body shop. I had the front lip on and it looks great. I'll post pictures once I have the kit installed by the shop.

Nice ride man! The center looks really nice. It's interesting to see the progress of your car throughout this thread- I just now saw this. Can't wait to see some pics with the SS installed. I'm guessing you stuck with the 00-02 front bumper?

Btw, how did you go about painting your valve cover, did you have someone powder coat it?

I kept the 00-02 bumper, I like it better than the 03-05 bumper. My car should be going into the shop tomorrow and I should have it back by the weekend with the kit installed. I wish my valve cover was powder coated but it's not. It is painted with some high temp paint. I did it myself and it wasn't hard.

I like what how you painted the valve cover red and black. It really goes along with the car. Gives me the idea of doing that to mine.

Nice, well good work! You're right though, the 00-02 SS kit looks the best, I confused that with the 03-05 WW kit.

I got my car back from the shop today and I am very disapointed with the body kit install. I am going to post some pictures tomorrow when I get off work. When the shop installed my kit, they used black trimming around the entire body kit and the rear lip is about half an inch to low. I am going to have the kit molded once my whole car is painted, but I am going to take my car by the shop again and see if he can fix it since I printed pictures of what the kit is supposed to look like. I will just have to add this to a lession learned in my life. The shop charged me around 640 to paint and install the kit and I knew that sounded too good to be ture and as of now it was. I hope the shop can fix this for me soon.

I am nervous about posting these pictures because I know the body kit is not installed correctly. I talked with the body shop and they are on vacation until next week, but the are going to re-work/adjust the kit to fit better.

I need new fog lights and a grill

This is some of the bad fitting

I have also got a few pm's about my tinted lights so here are a few pictures of them.

These are some random pictures

What do you think about the car?

Thanks. You must prefer the wings west kit? When I saw the shine street kit, I knew it was the kit I wanted. There are a few members that make the wings west kit look so good I kind of wanted to get it, but since I wanted the shine street kit first I kept to my first ideal.

I still really like that dash. Hope the body kit turns out a little better. I do like the SS kit for the 00-02 models a lot, I see what you're saying that you'd rather stick with the 00-02 bumper, I like it a lot. The only thing I could suggest is possibly moving the headunit down where the cubby hole is. This way you won't have to block the air vents, and it's a lot easier to use when it's "at your fingertips." But that all isn't really a big deal, your car is still a 10/10 in my book.

Thanks for the suggestion I might move the dvd player down until I get a double din pioneer head unit. That would complete my pioneer sound system. I like to have feed back on how to improve on this car.
Has anyone heard anything about the R1 concept rotors making a clicking noise? Is that a bad thing?

Way to rep up the red 3g's, awesome car and I'm lovin the look of the ss kit even if they didn't fit it correctly. It'll only get better.

Those SS fender flares have been noted for their crappy fitment by other members. Hopefully they will straighten them out a bit, but dont expect perfection lol.

I like how the car turned out. Looks very nice! One thing I dont like is the black line painted around the seams of the kit. Looks kinda akward and busy

Car is lookin' awesome! Sorry to hear about the bad fitment of the rear lip but hopefully the body shop gets it fixed. That black trim between the body and lipkit is a little...different. Keep up the good work

Its a very clean car! I dont know why they decided that to put the black trim around the kit. It seems like they would have called to talk to you about it first.

Wants you get that fitted right you will have one hell of a 3g. The ss kit looks better on the 00-02, ww kit looks better on 03-05. Only thing I would do now is gets some 235-35's for those 19's.

The 225 fit the factory fenders perfect. 235 or even 240 will fit nice with the fender flares but I am going to wait until I need new tires and then move to a wider tire.

Very nice!
Why don't you just get the kit fully molded That would really set the car off and make it look perfect!

can't have fit problems if they're molded, right?

After seeing how the fitment is I will be molding the kit to the car once I paint the car. I always knew the shine street kit had bad fitment but it was the kit I wanted. When I took my car back to the body shop, he showed me that the only way my rear lip would line up was if the fender flares were cut and repainted or I could take them off. When I have the kit molded I will have the front fender flares cut so that they can come off with the front bumper. I'll also add the shine street wing and paint the roof black.

Thanks everyone for your comments

Love your car, it looks great. Just get that fitment worked out.
The radio bezel and console looks pretty good to be done with a rattly can. I may have to look into that.

Also i would suggest replacing those fog lights, there not supposed to have that orange stuff in them
