I finished them today with no problem, and I was blown away by how great this head unit and speakers sound. Below I have a few pics of the final install. Tell me what you all think. I personally don’t like it sticking out so much, but I can live with it. First movie i played was Black Hawk Down. Nice car, I dont agree wit the underglow tho..ricey IMO but everyone has their on style.
You should put a nice S-Tech drop wit sum AGX shocks on there. Debadge the V6 emblems...Get sum tinted corner front bumper lights....sum nice rims...and a GrilleCraft Grill would look nice too! |

Finally got my AGX's all around and the Eibach pro kit yesterday. And i got it all for only $350!!!! from some guy on ebay, said he just had them sitting around collecting dust. He also said he bought them from someone on this site!!! Going to throw them on in a week or 2. Me and my buddy are doing it. I just have to buy him a case of beer. So if anyone has any tips on the install, please PM or post.
Next to come is: Invidia N-1, and Grillcraft Black( seen the group buy) Thanks for you feedback keep it coming Oh and by the way, i bought it with 38,000 in march and i now have around 48,000. Mind you i also took a 3000 mile road trip this summer. |

oh yeah, and by the way i had the goodyears on, but i had one of my friends drive my car for a few days, the day i got it back he said that he was doing burnouts with it. I also felt this huge flat spot on the tires once i drove it again. He helped buy me new ones, and i needed them anyway. Only thing is i had to get all season tires, ended up with Dunlop. ill get a new set with new rims next summer!

ok so i have called up a few places to try and get these KYB's and springs installed. But they want way to much; 6 hours at $90 p/h + $150 to get it aligned. My friend is like not going to help anymore. "has no time" Anyone know of a cheap place to get them put on in Chicago??

hell no!!! they were easy as hell. I got the sides and the back done in like 2 hours, but it got late so i didnt do the front. Like a few weeks later i put on the front in like 20 min. The only hard part is the finding out were to put the switch to turn it on. But in all, very easy.

http://club3g.com/forum/showthread.php?t=280 Also, I was able to rent a spring compressor at my local Autozone for FREE! They require a $45 deposit which is refunded when the tool is returned. I like your neons also. I don't know why everyone is saying to remove them. You've done a good job of hiding them under the vehicle, so unless you drive around with them on it's not like anyone sees them anyways. They'll be great once you start entering shows.. Yeah i know the tip looks like shit, but im not about to go out and drop 4 bills on a cat back right now. I bought the car with the tip.
I like the neons, i got them really cheap so why not. I get good Complements on them, Obviously from IriS. I have the AGX's just waiting to put them on. Im thinking maybe after winter. And im waiting to buy anything else because i dont know how much im going to end up paying after my court date for my speeding ticket. |

So i am really glad i have not put those AGX's on yet. It snowed like 7 1/2 in. today. I felt like i was clearing the road myself. I never really thought our cars were that low. All i felt was snow rubbing on the bottom of my car. Im thinking i might now wait till the end of winter.

You might want to look into getting the camber fixed if you haven't already. It looks a little off in the updated pictures.

So this is what i did to my car last weekend!!!! it sucked. i was pulling into a parking lot after my moms wedding and got in fine. there were no spaces in the first lot so i went to the next one. I was pulling into the 2nd lot and some car started to back out and he didnt see me. so i had to swerve to have him not hit me, but in the meantime i ran into a curb. this is the damage:
![]() ![]() does not look so bad.... right? wrong. it pushed the underside of my car in. they called it the rocker. it was a good 1 1/2 foot area. I already have it in the shop to get it fixed. i should get it by tomorrow. They were going to use the old sideskirt and endcap because they were not cracked only scratched to hell. They said they were going to sand the hell out of it and repaint it all. ill post pics once i get the car back. hope it will look ok. |

Ok, so i got the side skirt and fender fixed. i got a ride over there in my grandmothers car from my girlfriend on sat. morning. I got the car, the job was amazing, but the only thing i didnt like is that they took the other side skirt off to help with molding the rocker the way it should look. insted of pulling the skirt off in the correct and nice way, they used a screwdriver to pry it off and left little pry marks all over the Other skirt. I had to take the car that day because i needed the car. They told me to bring it back on monday.
Well everything is going ok after that. My girl told me to go ahead of her and she would follow. So i did. we are pulling out of the parking lot and i got stopped halfway into the street because of oncomeing traffic. she on the other hand thought i was going to keep going so she hit the gas. at the last second, from what she told me, she saw i hit the brakes and she went for the breaks as well. she hit the brake but her foot slipped of and hit the gas, WHAM, right into the back of my car. I AM SO PISSED. i turned off the street and got out to look at the car. no damage to my grandmothers car, but of course it bent the bumper in and scratched the hell out of the paint. I can live with it for a little bit only because i know it wont rust like the rocker would have. its a little funny because you can clearly see the plate numbers inprinted in the paint of my car. so im going to wait to get it fixed. just because i dont have the money right now to get it fixed. but she said she would pay for it when she gets the money. i made her sign something and everything. ill get pics later and put them up. Im getting sick of fixing my car!!!! |

Its color matched spray paint. With absolutely no wet sanding on the interior pieces. I tried once and fucked them up so bad, went too far down into the clear coat.
And yes, dual pistons off of a 2000 GT. They looked like complete shit when I got them. I got the used from an online junk yard. I bead blasted them clean and bought new everything; clip set, pistons, seals, bleeder screws and bolts. I’m just waiting for the last caliper to cure completely before I put these bad boys on. And thanks for all the comments guys!! |
