Ksports on the Guitar Hero car

New pics on page 2

just got the Ksports on my car and i have to say that they are the best ride i have had so far and i have had Pro-kit Springs and ground controls the these put both of them to shame. well here are some new pics nothing new on the inside but that will be changing soon. Oh and i took Third at Nopi this year, and yes i am fixing the camber this week.

Plans for the next few months are 19"s, WW lip kit, CF hood, and some new paint

excellent car man. super clean! looks very similar to my cars old look when she was still young. similar stance and all. just with the 03 front end. too bad youre not from the socal area, our cars would look kickass in a photo shoot together. interesting choice with the ksports though. hopefully they work out good for ya. ive heard a lot of mixed reviews about them.. but im sure theyll turn out fine. the car looks great and what kind of exhaust is that?

thanks for the good words, i got Ksports because i work at a shop and have put a few sets on other cars and they are sweet. anyone that wants to drop there car but still have an grear ride should get a set. I am getting 19"s for a few reasons, first i don't feel like getting new tires, second the rims are curbed, and third the rims look really small in person. i don't really drive the car much as i have another car (or had one, my 95 si was stolen but i'm getting another car) so i'm not to worried about shredding my tires. i am thinking about getting some black konig hotswaps and i was wonder what you all thought of that

i was thinking about it but i already have a 360 and the TV i am using doesn't have HDMI so it is pretty pointless for me to drop another 475 on a 360 but mu what i am doing is painting the face plate the same red as the interior so it was have a two tone against the black fiberglass.

They would def. match your interior. IMO i would stick with 18's.

How often are you over @ 480 customs? I live like a mile away- i would go down there and check out your ride.

thanks for the good words, i'm not getting the hotswaps because the lack the lip the lip that i REALLY want if anyone has any good ideas for a set of 19"s post them up i am always open to new ideas.

i would also love some feedback on and idea i am considering. anyone familiar with GH knows what "star power" is, for those that don't basically when you turn the guitar controller up and your meter is full it doubles your score multiplier and sets some fireworks off in the game. well my idea is this: get a NOS system and mount the bottle in the trunk and paint it black with the words "Star Power" on it in the guitar hero lettering and then mount purge nossels in all of the wheel wells, both sides of the windshield and two in the front bumper. then set the purge on a remote so that when a random person is playing the game at a show and activates star power i can set the purge off. i think it would be sweet to tie that part of the game into the car but let me know what you all think

i understand what you're saying and i think it would be a pretty sweet idea. a lot of work though

Just an Idea but instead of using NOS to purge just to purge why not use CO2 has pretty much the same efect at half the price

every one knows what the shine street sides look like so i don't feel i need to post pics of that but here is the front and rear i just got

BCN1 front

Revolution rear

as most of you know my car is a pure show car i almost never drive it and i didn't want to be like everyone else with the wings west kit (which i love by the way) i hope you guys like the kit.

oh and i am going to make a functional dual exhaust pretty soon so i don't have that open cut out in the rear

love the front and side choices, but i think the rear could have been better. but this is your car, so its not my place to tell you what to do. Cant wait to see the finished product.

I really like your choices for the front and the rear. I like the Wings West and Shine Street kits as much as anyone else, but if I had to choose something other than that, I would definitely go with that front. Also, the overall look does not seem overdone, which is always a positive.

ok nevermind, i kinda just glimpsed at the picture of the rear. For some reason I thought it was that black widow rear that used to be sold that had that oval shape license plate cut out and it fit like shit. That is actually clean rear bumper. Can't wait to see it done!

thank you i have started to mount the kit right now i am trying to figure out what i am going to do custom wise, i know i am going to fill the extra exhaust hole as well as the vent on the bottom of the rear bumper. my real question though is if i should do custom wide rear fenders to fit some 19x8 in the front and 19x9 in the rear. if anyone knows how wide i can go with 19s in the front i would really like to know

Majend : who are you?
here is the email i sent out to my family and friends when i heard about being cotm. it is a little sappy but i mean it you guys are best club on earth.

I just thought I would let you know that one of my dreams has come true. When I first decided to sell my outlander a few years ago and get into the world of show car building I didn’t know what car I wanted to take on as a project. I had a lot of ideas but I was having a great amount of trouble narrowing it down to one car. I spent day after day online researching different cars until I came to the national 3rd generation (2000-2005) Mitsubishi Eclipse club website. On the front page sat the May car of the month, a beautiful black eclipse owned by a man in Florida who went by the name Rulez on the website forum. From the moment I saw that car I knew I was going to build an eclipse. Sure enough a few weeks later I had one of my own which I named Canti. Since that day over two years ago I have made it my goal to build the best car I could possibly build and even though I have had many sleepless nights, countless hours, and more money then I would like to admit I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. Even now when she stands stripped in the shop I still look at her and think she is one of the most beautiful things on earth. Well now I can say with a loving heart that the work has paid off because my little eclipse is the car of the month on the national 3rd generation Mitsubishi eclipse club website! I don’t think I can express how good it makes me feel to know the people I look up to so much recognize my efforts. Last year I was fortunate enough to meet the man the owns the car the drove me to buy my eclipse as well as some other high level eclipse owners at hot import nights Orlando. These people could not have been any nicer. It says a lot about a group of people who will let some kid hang out with them for a whole weekend with out even thinking about it. Some people ask me if my car is worth all the time and money and I tell them yes every time. What I don’t tell them is how many friends I have made because of my eclipse and the times I have shared with them, because frankly it would take to long. Like the time will and I tried to get my stock rear struts off, or the early morning meets at the waffle house before a big show. Building cars isn’t always about the car and I am so proud to be a part of a community and circle of friends that understands that.
