Just like you user title states, you "just can't win" with this car. I would honestly try to sell the thing and start with something a little newer and with less miles. I know you bought it used from a guy in SA, because he was having "familiy" issues, but I think all he did was give his project car, and all the problems that came with it, to you.
Just my I've been down the route your on, and it seems like this car is going to nickel and dime you to death and leave you strapped for cash.It's your car at the end of the day though, so if you want to fix it up, then go ahead. Good luck to you. |

I doubt it would be very difficult to fix the exhaust hole. Just find a good welder.
