Hey, I've been searching around the site and saw once that you were the guy to PM about tires and rims, so here goes. I have a stock GT with stock rims and I came across some Michelin tires for cheap... the catch is that they're 235/55 R17s... currently I'm running on the stock 215/50 R17s so the 235s seem a bit big.. In your expert opinion, would they rub? Any response would be suuper appreciated.

I told him what you said and he ended up getting a nice pair of 235 for the rear, but just for less than a month, and he is buying a 215 or 225 this week due to what info you gave me). I recently picked up a set of 18" ASA AR1 Revolution wheels and I think I will stick with 225-45-18 and possibly a set of spacers due to my car lowered on D2 coilovers. The main goal is to have a clean look while having somewhat of a flush style.

Hey, sorry for the randomness, but I have a fellow 3G friend here in town who said that the 2001 GT rim can fit a 235-45-R17 tire. Is that true? I have looked at the tire guide you placed on the forum. I guess I am having a hard time grasping whether thats true or not. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
