I just called to book a room, are all the rooms with double beds taken!?!?! IL Rabbit Breaders Association bought up a large majority of the rooms by the sound of it..

I just booked my room through hotels.com so I guess we will wait and see if there are any problems. Rarely is a hotel ever booked so that is probably a lie

2 queen size room for only 68 bucks

Meh. I learned many things during my hospitality short career... they are never fully booked. They will say it but will always have vacancies open in case someone who forgot to book, can stay...for an increased price.

Or in this day and age... hotels will use websites to hold certain number of rooms to increase their chances of getting close to being booked.

Just talked to the manager about this and he said that had some reserved for the other group. But, he will override this situation if there are any more who want doubles. Just talk to the manager and say this is for Mitsubishi Factory MOD arriving September 21st.

Jeremy thanks for the text message. I will MOST DEFINITELY be joining this year!
Looking into this I'll be coming up Saturday morning after I finish work at 2am. Only 5.5hr drive so I'll have plenty of time to get there I'll take my Sunday shift off and would like to hangout all Saturday and as long as people are around for Sunday too! I'd like to get a hotel for Saturday night if anyone has room.

Ok, sitting here this is what I got so far... I am heading from the Thumb of MI, heading down 53 to 69, 69 through Lansing, 69 to 94 then through IN to IL, so if Nate plans on taking the OH turnpike, I won't be able to meet up. Raj, I'm told won't be leaving till 6, so we might be leaving that late, we might not, Mike and Dave are heading down Friday night but I'm not sure what time they are heading out either ... I also know that Ed will be at the west end of the state and believe that he will be leaving later afternoon as well, so us leaving later afternoon maybe the best bet.
