19 inch wheels

01 gs 255/30-19 wheels and tires I need struts and want to lower it about 1.5 inches only as it is daily driver. I only want to spend about $1500 on parts. Mainly want to firm up suspension because of the increase in unsprung weight and generally worn out suspension. I already have front and rear strut tower braces. Plan to replace struts springs, all bushings available with urethane. Any suggestions on strut/spring combo? Would lower suspension tie bars help etc. Street use only. Wont see any track use.

If you're willing to spend up to $1500 I'd go with coilovers so that you could get the perfect stance that you're looking for

Re: 19 inch wheels

I have heard that coilovers can be a pain. That $1500 is for all suspension upgrades not just struts and coils.

I'm guessing his quote of $1500 is for the KSport GT Pro inverted monotube design, or for Megans/D2/BC + install fee.

Doing them yourself, you're looking at about $1000 for the coilovers, endlinks, and a rear camber kit.
