New guy here!

Hey guys! My name is Stuart. In the Virginia Beach area. I have a '00 GT 5spd with around 79xxx miles. Running strong.

Current mods: '03 Bumper, Dual Halo 8000k HID headlights, Sony double-din head unit, 2 12'' Rocksford Fosgate woofers, Prestige alarm system, and 17'' black w/polished lip Helo wheels.

Future mods: 10000k HID foglights, aftermarket LED tail lights, tinting all aft end lights, swapping all interior lights (instrument cluster, ash tray, reading lights, etc..) with white LEDS, lowering springs or coilovers, cat-back, possibly some 18'' wheels, and custom body work (like removing the crevasses on the outside of the doors.) Maybe some more mods. Who knows?

Hope to keep working on these mods and have a very nice 3G in the future.

Thanks Guys!

Here is a picture of the car:

welcome!

you're doing yourself an injustice running any higher then 6000k hids... human eye's aren't as sensitive to blues as they are reds/yellows, so you're seeing a lot less, no matter how 'cool' it seems..

The reason I got the 8000k is because they looked/and still look white on the road.

There's no way. 8k is pure blue as I've had them myself. 4-5 are white. Under 4 it gets a yellow tint and over 5 it gets blue. After 8 or 10 its like pink or purple.

Welcome! We should hook up (no homo) as I live in the area, and I can't believe someone has the same idea on getting rid of the corrugated roof-looking doors (though I'm not very couragous on that front)

Yahh: I might be color blind then because my HIDs look white.

TurtleTamer: Yea we could do that. It's always nice meeting guys with 3Gs in the area.

Why don't you both look for a set of the dodge doors instead of doing a bunch of work on your current doors?? All u need is to fill in the holes where the trim attached to :yesway: I also plan on doing this..looks way cleaner
