Question Turbo? or internals

i have a 2003 eclipse RS 150k miles, i put new headers , cold air intake , short shifter, aftermarket exhaust, and a few other mods. i want more power though and im wondering if i should upgrade the head, or just turbo it. ive read a few threads and some say you can run turbo at around 8-12 psi but will that give me much more power ? or should i swap the head then turbo charge it? if so what would be a good head to swap with ? or what turbo would be good for it.

There's tons and tons of data on the forum on what turbo routes you can take. I suggest you tell us your budget first. Do you have access to a lift? A second car?

though i have some doubts that $2k is really enough for a quality build-- which is important. don't cheap out on components just to make your budget. things will only get worse going down that path..

With my budget witch would be the smarter way to go ? Swap or just turbo it ? If I do swap , what would be a good swap for it? What swap would give me the best performance?

up to you, depends if you like turbo noises. depends how well you want to do it. is it really worth it?
if you want power right out of the box. just swap. know our axles are pretty crap so get ready to snap them if you want to run serious power, depending how much you beat on it.

the question to turbo this car is "why a 3g?"

For 2K you can't build a quality car. To be honest, you sound pretty young and naive. You'll need close to 5K for a quality build with quality parts. I suggest you simply focus on maintenance first. If you bought a car for $400, i bet it needs plenty of work. Timing belt, fluids, tune up.

Once you have it running nice, look through the forums for a few months and see how others did their builds. Find a local tuner. Plan out your parts list. You need to do alot of reading before you attempt this.
