GETTING THE URL
For those of us that are having trouble with what to put as the URL, here is a short how to on that. Every picture hosted on the internet has its own URL. Most of them end with a JPG, BMP, GIF, TIF or PNG. It just depends on what the file type is. So now the question is how do I find out what the URL for the picture is? Below us is the Club3G index. Lets say we want to find the URL of the car of the month. ![]() What we want to do first is right click on the picture and it will bring up the menu shown below. ![]() Once that menu is up, we want to click on properties. And that will bring up the window that is shown. ![]() Once that opens it will show you what the URL for the picture is. And that is what you paste to hot link a picture. You will not be able to right click on every image and get its URL. Some may be protected by the website. And this method will only work on Internet Explorer and some other web browsers. Each of them has their own way of getting the URL.
