bodyshop experience from hell, 350Z butchered

Your first clue should have been the original quote of $250...still, I feel sorry for the guy.

HORRIBLE body shop experience - details inside. 350z ruined. - MY350Z.COM Forums

I like the shims and painted tires. Painted tires give you better traction on the autox course and make cool burnouts!

If you read the first post on my350z, the final price was actually around $750.

Regardless, $750 is definitely on the low side to fit, paint and mount a bodykit. So based on that and the fact he went somewhere without a referral or reference - I really have no sympathy.

This to me seems like the type of job you would get dropping it off at Dr.9023G's garage. (If you don't know who that is, search)

I've been known to use many large hammers to move body panels in and out of the way of tires that were never made to fit on the truck I was working on, and my work looks better than that.

I read some of the updated info and he can't sue them since he signed all the paperwork and paid them. If he did that its basically over. What I would do on his place is not to take car from, his shop, its already damaged here and there so how bad it can get. In that time contact lawyer, call the police and get a report ,take pictures and never pay him money and take the car back home. He would be afraid to call the Police or evet start the court case just because he would lose.

I feel bad for the guy but its his own damn fault for paying signing and taking the car and bitching couple days later.

BBB is usually crap for small places like that. They're not going to care one way or another what BBB has to say to them.

Without completely redoing the whole body of the car there is no way possible that poor car will ever look like it used to. AND if you do all that work to it, it will probobly have a salvage title or something
