It won't cause any problems, it will just be annoyingly loud.

Won't the lack of a catalytic converter cause the CEL to turn on from lack of readings and cause bad mileage?

You'll look like a retard. Just go get some pipe welded in. Or even grab an eBay exhaust for like $130.

I don't think there are any sensors after the last cat, least mine didn't have any. My pipe rusted out about a foot before my muffler and it sounded horrible. Even got an $88 ticket for it being too loud, even though I already had the replacement and was just waiting on my appointment to get the new cat and cat-back put on.

Hot exhaust could also cause anything it touches to melt, wire harnesses, carpet on the floorboard, etc... or worse, even cause a fire. Then you won't have any car!

This. The car isn't designed to be spewing exhaust gases on the undercarriage

I think you will have changed your mind before you melt anything.

Go drive it a couple days and then come back and let us know how that is going. Around the block and it is kinda funny but much after that and I am done. You would have to have one bumping stereo to hear anything. No talking on the phone or really even passengers.
