Mitsubishi's OBD-II "drive cycle" help (Manybrews?)
Can somebody please outline a Mitsubishi 'drive cycle'? (The driving you need to do to fulfill all the 'ready' flags on an OBD-II emissions test - I failed cuz I had two checks read 'not ready.') Any help is appreciated very much, thanks in advance!

Without knowing which two, its hard to give the right drive cycle. IIRC their are 10 different monitors on the 3g, and 6 different drive cycles. You have to use the right drive cycle for the right monitor. Look HERE starting on the bottom of page 13 for the drive cycles.

heres an example of a "drive cycle". there are many (as already stated), and most of the time they complete themselves during a normal driving routine.
but if you always drive around town, or always drive cold, etc.etc, they may not all complete. Ive been told that it usually takes about 4 hours of normal driving (highway, town, etc.etc) to get them all to complete. |
