Tearstone. The only good kit that was available for the car. You need a custom downpipe, there are no bolt on solutions that don't require modifications.

There are plenty of good legit kits out there for older model cars. It's just our platform, the 3rd generation eclipse, doesn't have much to work with since there aren't much aftermarket parts out there for us. No one has ever really tried to make a worth while kit for us 4 bangers except for Tearstone and that was a while back.

Honestly look through the 16g Evo turbo builds, they tell you every part you'll need and how to install it. They're a little more than an eBay kit but over time cost 1000's less in repairs. |

![]() So Keller2012, just piece together an Evo 8 turbo set up and call it a day. You will be more than happy choosing to do that instead of buying a fake non-real kit for our cars. Last edited by Corey16; 07/07/2012 at 04:06 AM. |

Oil lines for the 16g and water lines are not universal. For oil you'll want 36" at a minimum and it must be a m12x1.25 banjo bolt, water lines must be m14x1.5 banjo bolts. Otherwise it will flood the turbo and cause leaks. Even with the oil feed banjo you still might need a restrictor.
Please do yourself a favor and just look through mine or Masta560's or Yahh's or Voodoo's or Bostonhatcher's build threads. Don't just spend money. Make informed, educated purchases. The first 3 threads have every part we used. Voodoos and Boston's are a little advanced but show what can be done if you are smart about it. |

I got all my lines from eBay, but individually. You need to search for the items specifically, like;
M12x1.25 banjo oil feed line 10AN 16g oil return line M14x1.5 banjo style water line Etc |

Nobody is willing to spend the proper amount of cash on this car to do it the right way like the guys of the old days. This platform has been over ran by teenagers who think they can turbocharge a car for $750 and don't understand what they're getting themselves into. There should be a sticky where all of the most successfully built 3g's are show cased for the newer members.
