wow... i actually agree with the attention-whore for once. she is right.

for the time and money (to do it right) you could just buy a set of EVO wheels, and get pretty much the same feel, with better lines (thinner spokes, less weight, and the ability to put on larger brakes if you want.)

wheel work is hard, they abuse a wheel takes is alot more then just some custom body work, even bondo, will be destroyed in no time... you would need to recast a set wheel for it to last, and as soon as some of the bondi cam eoff (which it would) you would not be able to drive due to the misbalance of the wheels)

Not bad, but new wheels would be cheaper, and look better

1. They are not rims, they are wheels.
2. I think you should fill the indents and paint the wheels gold. It would look mAd TiTe. Post up more pics when you're finished.

Personally, i hate those stock wheels (had them on the 2000 GT in my avatar). I wouldn't even bother doing it if i were you, as stated you can get a NICE used set of wheels considering the cost of doing that to those wheels.

he was being sarcastic. he may not have realized that English is your second language. when people tYpE lIKe ThIs they are making fun of the fake/crappy look cars known as "rice". and i am 90% sure that you cannot fill cast aluminum wheels, especially not with steel.

your analogy is misguided. calling a wheel a rim is like calling an engine a cylinder head.

a rim is the out side part of the wheel. is you say you are going to paint your rims, that mean you are going to paint the outside circle that the tire mounts to. the rest is hub (the center) and spokes.

To the OP, get some aftermarket wheels. Go to treadepot.com and find a nice set of gold wheels on there.

out of curiousity...why does the word "rims" bother people on this forum?

i mean..some people refer to wheels..as being rims..

just like people refer to cellular phones as a cell

or even..green rectangular paper with numerical value is refered to as money lol idk just sayin..

i think rim sounds better then wheels lol

a rim is a part of a wheel. it is not an abbrviation (like cell for cell phone).

Compaired to what was posted above you, I would say you do. If you had no common sense then you probably would have just agreed with him, and kept on using the word "rimz" like the uneducated fucks do when they call our local radio swap shop hour... not knowing the true meaning of the word or use for that matter.

Telling people like it is , is a good quality no matter what anyone tells you. You never have to wonder what they are thinking or how they feel. The problem with this county today is that if someone tells someone else "what is up" they break down, cry, and run to mom to make everything better; everyone is scared of the truth and hurting someone's feelings... fucking grow some balls and learn from what is told to you.

As far as the e-stalking.. no, never.

well, this kinda ties into the hijacker comment earlier. people agree with him when he is right. those same people tell him to fuck off, when he is just being a dick. that is what i like about hijacker, he doesn't give a crap. if you are a tool in his eyes he will tell you. i have gone against him, and stood beside him both. you don't have to like everyone, or everything they do, or everything they say. but you gotta respect people for being honest and true....
..

..

and not call wheels rims. :P

and back to the OP: think about it. if something doesn't fully attach right when you try to fill those wheels, you have just made a missile. when you are going 60 MPH, the top of the wheel is going 120MPH, if one of those fills, breaks free (i lived in mexico for awhile, i KNOW what those roads are like.. they are really bad, the bumps will break anything free) you will have a bullet larger than a 50 cal, flying at your fender, or someone else's car. adding stuff to a wheel is HARD, and it is even HARDER to balance them afterwords. removing material is almost as bad. you weaken the wheel, and make it harder to balance. your best bet is to just save up and get some nice aftermarket ones.

vicksquick7 can pretty much be considered an idiot by all
BTW the throwback sodas aren't really throwbacks. Any senior citizen will tell you that they taste nothing like the real thing. The older ones had more caffeine. It wasn't just sugar. They taste terrible IMO.

BROZE COLOR
Very doable, no need to weld otherwise tons of work , then wouldn't be worth it. do not fill those in with Bondo , score the indentations really well with 40grit, use Duraglas (fiberglass bodyfiller) is very tough, sand prime with quality 2k primer, paint balance and you're good to go .
Tensile strenght of duraglas : 1550 lb/inē
