Matte or Gloss Vinyl
I have been thinking about making the roof, trunk and oem spoiler of my 3g black, trouble picking gloss or matte. I am not doing the hood right now, because of money issues. This is the current color of my 3g

You have money issues with buying some vinyl and you're doing this? Sounds like a plan in need of adjustment.
I say save up and paint your car a 2-tone, do it right the first time. PS - matte black only looks good on very few vehicles, such as a Lamborghini.

My dad is splitting half with me. I wish i could save up for an actual paint job. I'm 17 working part time at min wage trying to pay for college as well. So I'm going to take it if you were in my position you would go with gloss.

But if you're dead set, gloss vinyl would look way better than matte. I agree with treehead, gloss flows better with the colors already present on your car. |

Yes. As long as you continue to maintain your vehicle you'll be able to do this down the road when you do have the money.

^what he said.
you can either have a really cool car that no body is going to care about in a year and be drowning in debt for way too long, or you can give up the car mods for something that gets you back and forth to work, pay down some of those loans, and then start modding a car to your liking..

Dude just save up your money. The eclipse isnt a car u should be really spending heavy money on. The car looks good enough to me as is. Save up your money, do regular maintainence, and pay for college. Once you graduate college you can buy a REAL sports car like a beamer or maybe a used corvette. Case in point, dont spend money on it if your already expecting debt. Not a smart thing
