hey in in north Al, my friend told me a place thats about 30 min from me. ITs a HUGE track that is open every weekend, you do 3 runs in the morning and chill in the noon looking at cars and working on yours. Then you do 3 runs in the evening and as far as 3g's go we can see who gets the best time. i say we try to get all 3g runners in the area to come out.

For north Alabama, all of the 3Gs in the area = You. If you are talking about the track in Huntsville, I was always interested. Just lacking a dolly.

there are alot of 3g's here. had a meet with just the people i knew and we had at least 12 cars show up with some good races. theres the huntsville drag strip, that place is always fun, but i will have to get the name of the other place so you can look into it. we will have to see who will win when i get my RIPP supercharger installed and tuned.... if i can find a tuner

Anyone down for a mini meet within the next month? It doesn't have to be a big ordeal...it can just be 2 or 3 club3g people meeting up...we could just hangout, eat, and take some pictures..maybe even have a mod day where we just get some stuff done to our cars that we need some help with

It honestly doesn't matter

It's just sad to see that we've gone from this: GA Meet 1/2/2010 (very first Georgia meet), to absolutely nothing

The weekly Thursday meets in Gwinnett are back on. They will be held at the intersection of Duluth Hwy (120) and Riverside Parkway every Thursday night starting at 7:30pm. The specific address is 2100 Riverside Pkwy, Lawrenceville, GA

I know Jacob and BJ are the only other club3g members in Gwinnett, but if anyone else wants to go just let me know. I will probably be out there every Thursday next month before summer school starts in June. Here are some pictures from last Thursdays meet:

Thanks, but they're not my photos so I cant take credit for them. I think the guy who sets up those meets took those pictures. And yeah, there is usually a decent turnout every week. Last week there were 300+ cars, and that number should continue to grow as it gets warmer outside.

Oh and in case anybody is wondering, this meet is $$$free$$$

Reasons for change:

- We need to expand parking beyond what we have.

- Insurance coverage to match the growing crowd.

- More team members to hire to watch the crowd.

Starting this week May 2 nd we will be putting stickers on the windshield of the cars to identify who has paid and who has not. These are simply neon stickers that will be placed on your windshield after you pay. You must keep this on your windshield at all times at the meet. If a car is found without a sticker the owner of the car will be asked to pay to be able to stay in the meet, if they choose not to then they will be asked to leave. By using these stickers we will be eliminating the problem with people losing their tickets, people handing them off to those coming in after them, and making it easier to identify who has paid when we are patrolling the parking lot or when people leave and come back we are not having to wait on them to dig for the ticket.

Payment options:

Please be mindful of the cost of the car meet and have your 2$ on you when you get to the entrance.

We will also be doing quarterly and semiannual passes that you can purchase ahead of time to eliminate the hassle of carrying cash to each meet.

If interested, Pay Pal $26 for quarterly and $52 for semiannual pass to lightning685@yahoo.com as a gift.

You must include:

1.First and last name

2.Year/ Make/ Model / color of vehicle

3.Phone number

4. Address

Passes will be mailed out or you can pick them up at the next meet , after you pay.

You may also purchase these at the meets.

If using one of these passes to enter the meet, the attendant at the entrance will write down the serial number on your tag and you will initial next to it. This will keep people aware of the times that they used it, and helps us to know when your paid time has ran out.

Cliff Notes: Bring $2 to get in.

If anybody else wants to come, ill be out there tonight with some friends
