bought another Wrangler
JK Sahara Unlimited 4" lift, 35s, Smitty Bilt bumper/10K winch. I wanted 37s but my wife isn't sure how those would fly considering we have a baby seat going in and out of it We'll see, may upgrade if the 35s aren't big enough. Still have the Navigator for traveling though too. Needs tint and I'll probably swap out the exhaust, but it's pretty much done otherwise. Only other thing I may do is paint-match the hardtop.

Anyway I got everything signed and taken care of last week, was just waiting for everything to be put together...got notice today that it is ready and being shipped out, hoping to have it sometime next week! Here's a few pics that the dealer sent me. I'll be crawling malls before you know it

I heard the 3.7 was trouble but the newer one?? is good so far. Like it and i actually like those wheels, i hate the ones i always see that look like nazi wheels. I love my TJ except for the mpg!!

Nazi wheels? what are those?

I had a lifted TJ that I sold back in May or so. We never drove it since my wife was pregnant and we had two other vehicles. We still have my Z and a Navigator, but my wife really missed having a Jeep, so this is really for her. But we work together and she doesn't go out much by herself, so I'll end up driving most of the time anyway

But yeah, the MPG sucks. My Navigator gets even worse, so I'm used to it.

No Pentastar--I thought that is only available on the 2012? This is the 3.8L.

I got it for retail KBB (it's a 2007 bwith 40K), which is really a hell of a deal considering it has about $7000 worth of brand-new dealer-installed aftermarket. Basically, this dealer is a 4x4 shop that buys Wranglers and Hummers, outfits them with all sorts of shit, then makes their profit on the accessories--the vehicle itself is sold at a wash. Haha, that's what i call them, i have not heard anything bad about the 3.8 motor and the only thing i see failing all the time are pinion seals but that's probably because of the driveshaft angle. Here is a pic of those wheels or at least it's close to them.

I have been thinking about going the used route. I have to stop spending on the house though if I'm going to buy the Jeep.

the only thing I'm worried about is building it up and then leaving it outside, how long will it take for some asshole to steal things like the lights off it.

If you want towing, the Wrangler isn't for you But it's a blast to drive, that's for sure. I've taken it a couple of places, nothing crazy, but holy shit what a bitch to clean this thing up Anyway yeah, I'd be down! What's up with the 89Conquest in your sig, Nate? Is that leftover from a long time ago, or do you have one for sale?

I really wanted the jeep but I have to tow the cars around, and the camper so the jeep just wouldn't do it.
