so ill b visiting family in early june for a week or so.....they live in tomball.....any one got any good restaurants or things to do in the area?

only thing i know in the area i guess well known:

1. goodson's cafe
2. mel's country cafe
3. the drive-in movie

Im not familiar with that area either...

But, almost ALL good texas food can be found at any small town based family owned resurants. There, you will get some good grub

Also, FYI, dont do overboard with our accent. I seen people shot at for less

You have got to be the third or fourth person coming in from out of state that's visiting Bumblefuck, Texas Seriously, outside of the major cities there ain't shit to do. If you want to know what small town Texas is like, watch King of the Hill. It's spot-on. If you want to do more than just eat or drink beer by a fence, I suggest you go ahead and make the drive on down to Houston.

I disagree boobie. Well... kinda.

Remember, i grew up in Quanah. Pop 3000. Now it was small as hell. One stop light in the entire town. But there was always plenty to do. Sure most of it wasnt legal... but still. We could ALWAYS go shooting and not worry about getting in trouble for it. mudding, go carts, dirt bikes, and just random tailgate BBQ's.

Now you could only do this kind of stuff if you know people. So if your just visiting, i doubt you know anybody. But you could always make friends fast, i promise. Small towners love it when new people show up .

But if you wanna go clubing and so on. Just go to the major cities.

im not all into clubbing....never was.....im going to visit family....just didnt know if there were any cool hole in the wall restaurants with really good food or a cool place to hang out and shoot stuff lol haha

Well your in texas. Go out on back roads and shoot random things. Like birds, skunks, and so on. Hell even cans. Just make sure your not on anyones good land. Also, if its night time... be weary of warthogs. Those things are deadly.

ok so ive been in texas for a week and seen some 3gs buzzing around ...mostly some in tomball saw one last night at dairy queen and then another at sonic with a turbo rs badge...????? lol n e one ???

saw a nice white one the other day with a WW spoiler i belive.....texas is great having lots of fun....the gf and i are going out tonight but unsure what to do
