Yep it's that time again. Once again we are hosting it at Bear Creek Park.
The date has been changed
JULY 18th 2009

to: Golbow - Google Maps

Note: The event will be held in the west side of the park like always and not the east side due to overcrowding.

This event will be a community event so we'll make a list of who's bringing what and such.

Lol I just realised that the Club4g meet and the Austin Heat Wave show is on that weekend so it's moved up to the 18th. Sorry if you got plans like having a vacation in Europe or something I cater for the masses not the individual lol.

Here's an update
The meet is on the 18th of July on a Saturday. Like the Austin Meet we had, first meet up is at Walmart Supercenter at 1:30pm. til around 2:10pm. We're gonna wait for everyone to join up. Food wise, we can do three options:

1) Everyone brings something and make a list.
2) Everyone can just pitch in 5$ like Austin's Meet
3) We can all swing by somewhere and gets some food then bring it to the park.

Walmart Super Center
15955 Fm 529 Road
Houston, TX 77095

Directions from walmart to the Park

Then have a 10-15mins cruise to the park. Im gonna bring a canopy so we can get some shade, just bring folding chairs or a towel to sit on. Gonna eat, relax, talk, reminance the nature atmosphere, some football and pictures/video shots around the park.

Then there is a houston meet that night at 8pm. We can leave the park at 7:30, cruise to a car-wash. The houston meet is not that far from the park.

This is at the last moment, so this is the original plan, since alot of things happened and shit happens, alot of the Galants are unable to make it and its down to two of us. And plus theres a high chance of rain if not storm, how do you guys want to do this?

Move the meet 2 weeks further where more Galants can show or Wait until tommarow to see if it rains.

So far no rain, havent slept to see if it rains or not to give the best updates for everyone. If anything at least i dont need the canapy anymore. Its not gonna be sunny but hell. We will get soem food look at some cars and play some foot ball!!! and hopefully rain doesnt come til after the meeet.

I gotta give some serious props to the owner of the purple Galant. Nice and subtle body kit, perfect drop (good camber, ride height and wheel offset), no gay neon lights, dumb-rice wings or primered parts

Although I'd get rid of the red caliper paint. That doesn't match any of the rest of the car.

To answer your question he sold it on Craig's list 3 month ago. Didn't know whom he sold to until it was revealed on Galantforums that the new owner browsed there. People there were upset when we found out he's gonna showcase his "new" car that we built over the years and claim the build as his own. Not only that, he has a fascination towards led and neons but what can we do? It's his car now and the only thing we could hurt him would be his pride.

Really, it's not his work, don't let him take the credit. Kinda reminded of a yellow 3g owner that bought it modded for $45,000 and put it in shows to make the judges think it's his creation.

Its not gonna be sunny but hell. We will get soem food look at some cars and play some foot ball!!! and hopefully rain doesnt come til after the meeet. __________________
