acually my friend with an evo mr just purchased teins therefore he might be giving his stock springs to me but i was wondering if the stock springs from an evo with aftermarket struts would work.

Just invest the time to try it out.
If they don't fit you'll know before they go on the car.

The rears may go. Our rear suspension is shared with the 2G Eclipse, and so it may also mate up with Evo parts as well. I doubt the front will but you never know.
Keep in mind that "fit" is only part of it. The spring rates will be totally different, maybe in a good way, maybe not. And the ride height will be completely unpredicatable. You may get the springs to fit, be excited about them being stiff rates, only to lower the car and find it either scraping the ground or riding like a 4x4, or some combination of both. Or it may work. You'd be the first to try it as far as I know. Good luck - |
