Coilover damper settings

I've been doing research on suspension and coilovers and I've been looking for specific damper settings for the D2s. For example, what are people using for street compared to track settings? This could also be a very stupid question, so I apologize in advance. Just trying to learn as much as I can.

soft in the front and hard in the back for the track. Street wise medium all the way around. Basically it boils down to personal preference.

Next time search a lil bit harder because this topic has been discussed

I have decided to bump this thread because I remember searching for damper settings in the past, and this is practically the only thread that popped up.

Right now with my BC coilovers, I am at halfway all around (daily street driving). Curious as to what everyone else is riding on (street, track, etc.).

Talking about coilovers. I want to install some D2 coilovers that I got a week ago but every mechanic around my area gives me a quote of around $300 to $350. Is that a good price?

That is a fair price for a coil over install from a shop. Now, if that is the price with adjusting, corner balancing, and alignment, then that is an awesome price. But most shops will charge anywhere from 2-5 hours, which usually is like $90-$100 an hour. Then depending on if you have them install new end links and a rear camber kit, the price will go up.

Damn, I gave my cousin a Subway sandwich and he installed them perfectly, with some help of me, learned how to install coils. Feels good to have family who are knowledgeable in modding

Anyways I have my setting on supersoft, I havent tried anything else, I should give it a go and compare the difference.

My coils were set to 34 front and rear out of the box, I rode around like that for a day or so, it was insanely stiff. Now i'm rolling 22 in the front and 25 in the rear, feels like a happy medium for my daily street driving.
