Mister Jinxy : who are you?
IAC and MAF replacement question

As the title says I changed my IAC and MAF because my car was throwing a bad MAF code and it was hunting for idle and was stalling. after putting the two new parts in it is running at a really low RPM 500 or less. It does not stall though. Is this normal for a couple of days before everything resets? It is a 2003 Eclipse GTS.

Update: unplugged new MAF and car ran normal so I put the old MAF back in and it is running fine. so I am guessing it was just a bad part.

Idle should be 650-850 when warmed up and after it's been through self learn.

How long does the self learn usually take? It started stalling again with the old MAF so i put the new one back in and it stopped stalling but the RPMs are just so low. I have only driven it once since putting the new one back in. Thank you for your reply and help.
