Going home during lunch I hit a curve going to fast on the wet road and fishtail. Slam into the guardrail doing thirty. Car is fucked up :,(. Someone make me feel better ice only had the car for like a month. No internal shit got hit but the car just looks nasty now. If anyone wants to give me a quote on how much this will be to fix I'd love ya. Thanks guys :,(

The shit that is screwed up is the hood, the headlamp the back drivers side tire and the drivers side reverse light.

Sounds pretty bad. You might want to post a picture.

I'm guessing all the body panels are gone, axles have bent components (control arm, etc.) , you'll need new wheels, possible frame damage?, etc.

It sounds like a headache, just call your insurance and let them deal with it.

The axles are fine it's just the bs that goes along with it. I don't have collision on my car either because my insurance doesn't insure cars that are over ten years old.

Update: My mechanic said I need a new radiator mount, new headlamps, and new bumpers and fenders. They said the hood and the back drivers side tire can be salvaged. They said they would charge me 1200 dollars to do this. Are they ripping me off? How much time and money would it cost for me to do this myself? Again thanks for any input you guys have. It is much appreciated.

I think it's a good time for some mods to the car since you have to buy new stuff anyway

1200 sounds reasonable. I had a basketball hoop fall on car and was told 5300, so 1200 is damn good

Update. Found I could buy a radiator mount for 150. Headlamps for 80. Reverse lights for 20. Would save a lot of money off what the mechanic was gonna charge me. Hopefully I can get the money soon. Still trying to sell some old stuff from my house. Will hopefully be able to put pictures of my car up once I get my car back. I miss being able to drive . Good news tho and ill bump the thread till I'm back. Thanks people
