I think the first thing you should do is take that Enkei sticker off your window

Glad you are liking your ride. Since you popped out the fake vents, why not cut out the plastic behind them while you are at it, or maybe add a grill? I cut mine out and left them exposed (my Eclipse was black as well); I don't like the grills there but a lot of members here do. Anyway, good luck with your mods.

looks exactly lime mine, when mine was stock. Except there is no defective clearcoat on yours.

Yeah like mark said take off the stickers
And why the engine rebuild?

Seeing that you want to "slam" your ride, I have two questions for you.
1. Were you here in the Denver area for last winter?
2. Do you have a second car? A 'winter beater'?

Along with the fake vents being gone, it looks as though you've got all but one of your center caps missing from your wheels.
We can rebuild her.
OR... are you planning to replace the stock GS 10-spokes soon?

Those pictures remind me of when I lived in Canada. Of course, I didn't own a 3G at the time, let alone have a driver's license.

It's nice so far, btw I noticed that the passenger side front wheel is the only one that has the center cap on... is there a reason for that? If you're not going to get the other ones, you can take that one off for a more uniform look.

No it's not painted, planning on leaving it until i get the car repainted. Doesn't really bug me that much. My tint was $200, would have been more if I would have went with 3M tint (wish I did), But I love it. Also have a lifetime warranty with them.

Thats a good attitude. When and if you keep modding it you will probably want to keep it until the wheels fall off lol.

Not bad you should really focus on painting the bumper not a fan of the wheels but they are okay i guess

Better pictures, car seriously needs a new paint job which is why the front is not painted. Also thinking of changing it to the 03-05 front. Next upgrade will be suspension.

Yeah, this car is a survivor...still on original motor.

I've always liked how it looks with the WW lip kit, but idk

The car will officially be paid off in December, so I'm thinking about starting a new build for this car. Dohc swap, rebuild the block with oem parts since our block already hold boost quite well. Would like to be in the 400 hp range. Still doing a lot of reading on everything, but I haven't made it official yet. Don't know if I want to get a car that's already boosted (though I don't know if i really want another car payment right now) or just make my eclipse the project car.

Was thinking about a beater car.
I'm tempted to buy a 2nd block for a rebuild, was also thinking of maybe buying a brand new block but damn it's expensive.

Update on what I have been working with

Removing the old paint

Primer

After a few coats

Wish I could have spend more time removing the paint as you can see here, was in a rush to get this done while the weather was nice. But w/e, I'm more excited to see how well these brakes perform.

Random pic of the 3g

And the biggest project that's in the works...

Now I am debating on what I should get next...purchase everything for the brembo's or full coilover suspension.
Either way I will have both.

Got bored and took some pics after washing it. YES I know I need to paint the front bumper which will be soon. Debating on if I should keep the current bumper with the Street Shine lip or swap over to 03-05 front with the WW lip. New to the list are tail lights, going to take them apart and paint over the chrome. ALSO brought BC Coilovers which are currently on backorder
BBK will be next followed by painting the front bumper

The only thing I need at this point are rotors, and might replace the rear hub assembly. I repainted them but they didn't turn out that good. So I wonder if I should get them powder coated.

Sorry bud, would rather do Brembo's first over front bumper. Stopping performance over painted bumper, but it WILL be done soon.

I guess you still have your chance while the brembos aren't installed yet. If you are not satisfied with the paint, then PC is the way to go.

Yes especially after seeing a few pics, should've when that route the first time. Hell, doing this will give me a chance to just replace the seals and dustboots.
