Soundman, Do you have any pictures(Part number for the Mitah, amp relocation kit etc) to go with this instructional thread? My MR400692 corroded out; and I am not ready to replace it. I am pretty illiterate in this electronics arena.... I just want my factory radio to work! I really would appreciate any help. Thanks, Karen01 spyder
"What do I NEED to do to bypass the factory amp (which of the two adapters?) so we can actually hear audio again?2 harnesses on factory amp are a small black one which gives the signal to the amp and a bigger white one which is amp to speakers. To bypass the amp you need the 8 audio wires from the larger harness at the amp radio side:the 'easiest' way to connect to the stock speaker wires is to locate a 'amp relocation kit' or 'amp delete kit' .However what your concerned with for a factory amp bypass is the main harness with the main power connections there is no remote amp turn on or ground on the main harness. An amp delete/remove kit would be easier"
