Sorry for not posting for a few days... Been BUSY preparing for my son/daughter who is due on the 15th. The wife has been having some contractions, but nothing serious yet. Anyway, I think that MPLS would be best for the meet. It is a little more centralized being is it is the 2nd (1st for some) meet and may be easier to get more people to show up. I will try to be there but I can't remember if there was a car show in SuFu that I had to have the car at. I will let you know ASAP.

nate_0022:I will PM you my # in a sec.

Do you have to take off the entire hub? and do any of you know the stock studs length? and the knurl size and length?

I was going to look for it in the service manual but my link stopped working for it.

I just went to NAPA and told them I need X amount of wheel studs. I didn't have to take the hub off jacked up the car put the e-brake on put the car in neautral so the hub can spin. Hit the broken stud with a hammer and it came right out.

Mine aren't broken though, I'll be replaceing them w/ longer studs for some spacers. I'll have to just stop by napa or autozone and have them look it up for me. I ordered in some 45mm one through work, hopefully those work.

I dont think that it wil be an issue to find a good park at all. I would think that we could do something by one of the lakes. I play softball at nokomis every week and they have a ton of room , and there is always calhoun or something. Let me know what you guys think.

And about that drop and the work that people need done, Do you want to do it at your house again slvr or maybe we cn d it at my place I dont have alot of room to park I will just have to make sure that the roomies dont care. And do all you guys have the cmber kit on your cars? I didnt have it onlast time and I was really planning to do it again I am not racing or anything just driving, is it neccessary?

I don't think it'll be necceassary for the pro kit drop because you will still get the camber set back to where it's supposed to be. I think Slver/t is going to Duluth that weekend, so I don't think he will be joining us.

No problem Nate.

I have some fender washers you can use to space it. I also have a few m10 1.25 x 60 bolts, but only 3. And yes the 60's work I was shocked to.

I have it spaced 3/4" in the rear w/ KYB's and the pro-kit and my camber is at -0.6. I would do the camber kit if I were you otherwise you can get goofy tire wear and it looks bad w/ the rear wheels angled alot.

So get the camber kit. Got it. Well I am finally going to get the bumper tomorrow! cant wait. I am not stoked to paint it but I will wait on that .

I mentioned before maybe going to one of the lakes in the city to bbq and throw around a football or frisbee or something. Does this work for everyone so far?

Halo : who are you?
okay guys, here are the pics from the last meet. Not much here because I don;t have much time to do anything with them. But I did get some editing and enhancements done. Hope you guys like 'em.....:
Pics @ Photobucket

The reason for multiples are: Original photo/edited photo/enhanced photo

Now the "FULL" HIGH RESOLUTION images are uploaded so that way you can just download/save them, and print as you like.

So if you guys want something personal done with some of these pics, let me know what you want, and I'll take a crack at it....

Anyone know where i can get a camber kit in town.....preferably somewhere the people know what the fuck is going on........i tried 2 places now and they made me so mad i wanted to smack them......people look at you so weird when you tell them that the stratus and eclipse are basically the same car.

surprisingly everything was fairly straightforward.

i had to trim the crashbar on both sides at a 45 degree angle. sawzall for the major cut, and a dremel to clean it up, and that was done. then i just had to drill two holes (one under each headlight) for the top plastic pegs for the bumper.

thanks man. i dunno if theres an exact camber kit for your car, but i know that other galant owners have just used washers from home depot to correct their camber.

That's all I did is use a longer bolt and 5 washers. I can find the how-to for you if you can't find it. It should be around here or on 2g somewhere.

As far as i know.....its basically the camber kit for the eclipse.....i went on the eibach web site and all the part numbers for the camber kit for eclipse 4 & 6 cyl, stratus 6cyl, and stratus sedan 4 & 6 cyl are all the same part number.

yeah, its going to be much cheaper for you to make your own out of Home depot parts....I actually did it as well, but then, with the pro-kit, I never put it on....i was planning too...but i guess after some research, i decided against it....i think i sold the bolts and washers though, but ill check the garage and if you want them, you can just have them, assuming i still got them that is....

otherwise, if you want "REAL" Eibach camber kit(s)....Discount Tire has 'em seeing they are an official carrier of Eibach Springs...they should atleast be able to order it for you....

my post above says to try Discount Tire, but anyways....regardless, just tell people its for an eclipse...my Evo Brembo kit is only going to fit with spacers on my current rims, so i have to look up wheels for the Evo...i just say..."yeah, i'm looking for rims for my evo" although im driving an eclipse....hahahaha

Thanks for the complements guys!!! I also have a son who is 17mths old. ANYWAY, I am down for whatever time. It would be a lil better if it was after say... 2pm since I may be getting my other fenders painted B4 the meet and would have to pick up the car from SuFu. But, anytime would work.
