Headlights and front indicators

Hello from Germany,
I'm looking for my 3G Spyder new headlights.
The previous owner has dual halo with LED installed but
I do not like this cheap look.
Are there dual halo headlamps without LED and / or angel eyes.
I've already searched ebay us and elsewhere but no
found that I liked.
The interior should be black, not chrome.
Maybe someone knows where I can buy black / gray front indicators.
I hope you can help me.
Thanks in advance and nice greetings,
Stephan

TeTrisMoNk Maxzone has the same model number as the Depo projectors - would they be the same headlight just under a different manufacturer?

When the entire assembly is chrome, glare is bad. In this case, you'll be fine with those depos. Just a heads up though, they won't be the same ones in the image. In fact, the chrome won't be there.

Glare are caused by full chrome headlamps.

3rd Brake Light

Is it possible to make the logo the brake light?
07/09/2014 05:29 PM
streeteclipse I've been looking for a smoked or black housed third brake light. I know I could just nite shade mine but I wanted to get one that could never fade or crack or anything like that. I found clear ones on ebay but can't find smoked.

jstewart92 That's why you should consider a retrofit, I sell parts if you wanted to DIY, but also do the work for 3g'ers.

I just checked mine. They don't have a bad pattern, just no where near as bright if that helps
I drive many country roads through deer country - I prefer to have my brights to have a very wide side to side pattern. The thought of hitting Bambi at high speed in a low car with a soft top scares the crap out of me.

Yeah I did Chad - I even took out both bulbs and swapped them into the opposite sides- I thought that maybe there was an issue with the bulbs themselves but the light output stayed the same.

any thoughts ? Should I have them send me new ones or should I get my money back and try a different brand?

Thanks for the help - the fixtures look great on the car - the projectors work well - its just the brights, I'll never need them https://www.club3g.com/forum/images/s...L6aiHcjVkG.gif

Sonars

I bought a pair of Sonars with HID kits a couple weeks ago. Black housings with CCFL halos on the projectors. Model
444-ME00-CCFL-BK+HID-ON-4KH1-DC-SLIM

They look great on the vehicle - the projectors throw a great beam. As expected had to adjust the wheel to get them at the correct height. The issue that I am having is with the brights. The passengers side bright throws a beam that goes up and down and does not light up much of the road or next to the road but it lights up the branches above the road real well. The driver's side bright shines down on the pavement about 20 feet in front of the vehicle - once again not helping to see where I am driving. Any suggestions? Right now I am planning on returning them and trying a different brand

Thanks

Chad 8K is less light, just more color.
05/12/2014 08:20 PM
eclipse_this I bought the 8K angel/eagle chrome no tint for my old car and love them. So much light I never seen. Good looking and light up the night. I may have the cutoff a bit high but the cops never stop me and no one flashes their brights at me. I am ready to pull the trigger on maybe the black version for my spyder.

It's self defeating. Higher the number, the less visible light there is. 8000 is actually less light than 6000. I dont go higher than 5000 with my HID's.

Is there a better site to shop for this kinda thing? I'm pretty much just looking for black sonars, black tails, and some clear/black corners....
The anzos are good tails. Buy off ebay, save some money if that's your thing. What are you confused about for the lights? Could always go for something custom too.
04/07/2014 08:22 AM
Chad Those new Anzo tail lights look very close to TYC's old design. They look decent

The HL's you just posted are a sonar design. So yea, not bad. Not the best, but not bad.

Besides for your normal OEM lights they include "tuning parts" include the following:

Chrome Headlights
Black Headlights

00-02 Clear Front Turn signal/ Front lights
00-02 Smoked Front Turn signal/ Front lights (not black housed)

03+ Chrome/Clear Lens Front Turn signal/ Front lights
03+ Black/Clear Lens Front Turn signal/ Front lights
03+ Chrome/Smoked Lens Front Turn signal/ Front lights

00-05 Smoked/Red Rear Turn Signal / Rear Lamp
00-05 Smoked Rear Turn Signal / Rear Lamp
00-05 Clear/Red Rear Turn Signal / Rear Lamp

Chad This threads needs a little updating with the new lights out. If you know of any new Headlights, tail lamps, or any new designs that are out that aren't on the original post, give me links so I can add them in. Try and classify if they are a certain make. (aka anzos, sonars, ect..)
05/08/2013 07:28 PM
soundman98 maybe, though last time i read the fmvss sheet on it(i believe it's fmvss 108?), i believe it said the reflector needed to be integral to the rear brake lamp assembly.. but all lighting assemblies are passed/failed as a complete unit, so adding it later is still considered illegal, though it might skate past a few cops like hid's in halogen projectors...
05/08/2013 07:18 PM
