Dash replacement

I'm trying to replace the cracked dash deck in my 02 GT with one with no cracks from a junk yard, then attempt to repair the one from my GT and put it in my 00 GS (which is so bad it is going straight in the garbage when I get it out). The problem is...it is hung up on something on the passenger side that I can't see. Any suggestions?

Dash removal (repost with rescued images)

Search next time Dash removal and it brought up this post and I used it myself to take it out...

I would highly recommend getting a steering wheel puller as well if you haven't already gotten that off.

Scougar is similar to TE
If he hasn't and can't afford a puller... then do NOT take the nut off all the way when you try to pull it off, otherwise you might smack yourself in the face when it comes loose! (So you keep the nut on partially until the wheel is free, then remove the nut and the wheel the rest of the way).

Nice guide btw.. will probably have to use that myself at some point!!
