Thoughts? You are hanging out with the wrong kind of women. As for the car, I've never seen a nice set of duals on any colored 3G. Good luck getting things situated.
Decent car, good idea on going with the Sonars because those headlights are JUNK. I dont like the tail lights either, but its whatever you like.

I would get that thing detailed ASAP also, especially the engine.
might get the engine bay done (or at least clean it up pretty good) but the outside, seems like a waste with the messed up bumper. i will giver her a bath (inside the engine bay too) and post up some pics with the wheels. this weekend. i am trying to do it right, by fixing that is bad, not just buying stuff and ignoring the problems (like the springs as shocks, mine are dead, so drivability comes before show and shine, and might as well upgrade during the fixes)

and like i said, i do regret the headlights and tails, i wish i had found this forum, back when i was looking for headlights. stupid impulse decisions.

and Tx4codeman: yeah i realized that, the newest girl (after the psycho) is awesome though... i haven't cooked in like 6 months!
Looks good so far.
clean up that engine bay. It'll make a big difference.

yep that engine bay needed that.

Looks pretty good. Change the headlights and smoke the tails save some money for the KYB's and camber kit.
If it makes you feel better, I have duals and have never had a problem with them. :yesway:
Good job on the engine bay, looks way better. :yesway:

thanks for th engine bay comments guys. it is amazing what a little elbow grease and a couple of rags can do.

also, yesterday, my upper radio hose blew. luckily i was near a pepboys, unluckily they had none, but over in the engine dressup area they had this bendable, stainless steel braid covered hose (there is a regular one inside). so i got it, so i could drive home. i might just have to get more of these style hoses/sleeves. it looks pretty good IMO.

and for all the dual halo naysayers here is my output (notice there is no batsignal):

that is 75 feet away.

new pics, with new tails (i messed the other ones up trying to get them open... not enough heat in the oven to loosen the silicone, but enough to melt the lenses..stupid ebay crap), new turns (smoked) and new backup lights:

click for full.

i guess i need to get sonar headlights, since all the others are now sonar.

and, i found an 01 (i think) gs spyder at my girlfriend's work... so i had to take pics of them together.:

Congrats. You bought the shittyst quality tails there are
Well, that is your opinion. and all it is. these sonar tails, are matches for the stocker, both in heft, and rigidity, match up prefect on the holes when mounting, and have been through 4 days of rain solid, and an atumatic car wash, with no fogging, or water or anything. the bulbs also solidly mount in the sockets, with no play. (well, i did mod one socket each, for the 4 tail light illumination mod, 1157's in each socket). whereas the ones i got rid of, fit bad (gaps, misalighment for the studs) and were weak, and the bulbs were slightly loose. and i hear of TYC's (which are nice and all but discontinued, and expensive, when you can even find them, fogging up. so i bought what i could find, for a price i would pay, and am more than happy with them. you want cheap? go buy those ebay craps i had.
I'd suggest getting rid of the Spyder and GS emblems on the back.

you know, i was thinking of that. they are just stuck on there right? no holes, just glue? if that is so, i will totally do it. (i mean heck you KNOW it is a spyder... there is no roof, and gs is just saying "look! 4cyl!")
i really think it would clean it up.

should i lightly smoke the backup lights? i am thinking yes, but would like opinions.
I like your wheels.

Yep, its just stuck on. Heat it up with a hair dryer and it'll peel right off.

yep, it was that easy!

while i was at it, i attempted to black out the red part of the emblems. i like it. it is just electrical tape right now, but i am getting some vinyl from a friend (that owns a sign shop, for free) later this week. then it will be permanent.

and of course i had to do the front too.

(yes i know it needs cleaned, and painted.. but it is raining, and the cash flow for a new bumper (i am going to go 03) and paint is not there yet.)
