Having issue finding the right fob for my car. Was purchased without one, its a 02 GT model. I know I need the denso model fob not the omron. I've crawled under the dash and got the number off my etacs box, it is HYQ13BAS, however I cannot find any info on this FCC ID anywhere online. Making me really frustrated, called just about every dealership in the southeast and even tried calling Mitsubishi corporate, all leading to nothing. Just would like to know what remote ID I need and lock/unlock, or lock/unlock/panic. If you could provide a link below to a remote for sale, preferably amazon or eBay, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Do u have your old fob? Or did u need a new one?

If you call a dealer and give them your vin you should easily be able to get the part number for the fob.

I purchased car without a fob, so I have no old one to grab a number off of. And I have already tried just about every dealership in the southeast. They give me their part number, which does me no good if I want to buy one online for 1/4 of their list price. They say the only way they can give me the ID is if I order in a fob at my expense and look at the number on it.

Head over the an Autozone around you. Just go to the counter and tell them you need a new fob. They'll call the manufacturer, tell them the year make and model. They will then get you a part number.

Autozones key vendor is closed on Sunday, will try them in the morning. Any suggestions for the meantime?

Just search on eBay for a denzo Fob for 2000-2002 eclipse.
