I just bought a 91' Talon yesterday for $100!:fever:

The body and frame are in really good condition except for minor body damage.

It is front wheel drive, the interior is near perfect, it has decent aftermarket wheels, and brand new tires.

The reason i got it for $100 was because the motor is blown (Rod shot through oil pan) and it needs a clutch.

I really plan on swapping a 4g63t in there (not to sure on my plans yet)

I will ad pics later and i will keep adding them along the progress.

And if all else fails, at least i won't be out of any money because i can junk iot for more than $100....lol

He just bought a Stage 1 Block from slowboyracing
thanks for all the great feedback!

I just started to pull the motor yesterday, and I plan on finishing that up tomorrow.

Im doing all the work myself and this is my first project.

But I will post pics up tomorrow cuz I just found my digital camera
You'll have fun building a motor for it. Go to a junkyard and pick up a motor for a few hundred and have it hot tanked, decked, honed and blue prebrinted. Then go out and pick up a rebuild kit which shouldnt be much and enjoy a trouble free motor for under 1,000 if you source your parts out right. Make sure you get a 6 bolt and try finding a good condition 2G head with exhaust manifold. Re-use the 1G intake manifold and throw on a 16G, should be a fun low budget ride.
Heres an awesome build guide that you could use as a guide if you were to build your own motor.

I was pretty much thinking of something along the lines of that.....

thanks for the input

Pics have been added...

Today i disconnected most of the hoses, and tomorrow i hope i can pull the motor.

I don't have a cherry picker, so im thinking if i unbolt the motor mounts...maybe me and my friend can lift it out by hand...idk yet..lol

but tomorrow i plan on pulling the motor and dropping the tranny.

Your probably one of those dumbass noobs that read somewhere that the 1G heads flow more and think it's better then the 2G. The 2G heads have more VELOCITY which in this case since Im sure he wont be shooting for 600hp (where the 2G heads would choke and 1G preferred) so theres no need for them. A higher flow rate doesnt mean shit unless your shooting for that much power. Also with the 2G head, because of the increased velocity they make more torque down low which actually makes them more suitable for mild power. Just go look at the Evo's heads.

Go stick to shoving a dildo up your ass.
He never said how much power he plans on shooting for, now if he is going all motor I would
understand, but if turbo he would rather have a 1g head.
If i put a 4g63t in it, i simply just want to upgrade the BOV, bigger turbo, and other minor stuff like that.

If i get the extra money i will go all out, and if that is the case my goal would probaly be 300-400hp
Not bad, nice find.
Is anyone is interested in buying it, i think i'm going to go ahead and sell it for a little profit.

if you are interested just make me a reasonable offer
$101.37

Throw it on ebay or craigslist if you wanna make some money.
haha....

im going to the junkyard tomorrow in search of a 4g63....

if i can sell it i will but im not too motivated to so it wont be going on ebay for a while.....

lol
