I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS 2.4L 4cyl and was looking to get another eclipse around the same year but the 3.0L v6 version (GT) was wondering if I could pull the V6 out and if the motor mounts would line up for my 2.4L?

You'd need the wiring harness and complete front subframe among other things.

I have all of that from my old car, could I make it work with the default mounts and everything?

If you have a complete donor car, yes, you can swap everything over. The main left and right mounts that are welded in the engine bay to the frame are identical to my knowledge.

I believe you also need to swap the tranny over along with engine.

The trans and the mounts for it as well. Don't forget the wiring harness and ECU as well because that's also going to need to be swapped over.
