Did you try the cassette adapter with the wire that has the 3.5mm headphone jack? They are under $5.00, it's what I use until I can replace my HU with Bluetooth.

2003 Eclipse GTS Infinity AUX input
I know that this has been discussed and I did multiple searches and I could not find a straight answer on the subject and all the threads I saw about this were from years back. Can someone please give me a straight answer on this. I have a 2003 Eclipse GTS with the Infinity 6 disc headunit. Is there anyway to install an auxillary input on the stock headunit. I want an input with a 3.5mm headphone jack so I can use my droid. I am not interested in an fm transmitter. Someone please just give a straight answer and what cable I would need thank you and also I would like to introduce myself since I am new. I just bought my eclipse. Like I said its an 03 GTS 5 speed black exterior and black interior with midnight blue accents. I like it so far. Thanks again in advance....

There is no way to get an aux input to the stock radio. It's in the FAQ. Says it clear as day.
