3G - Alternator Shield/Cover?

Just curious guys does anyone know of a 3G Eclipse Alternator Shield/Cover - I seem to keep on having the same problem up here in the Upper Peninsula Where we get loaded with snow, ya its April and we have still been getting dumped. And not to mention its starting to melt and there is deep water everywhere and whatnot. But I keep on having this problem only in the fall, winter and early spring where water and/or snow gets up on the alternator and keeps on shorting it out. Was curious if anyone out there has seen something to protect the alternator from the elements like this? Look forward to your input / responses.
