What makes me laugh about social media is the young twits that call themselves "influencers". Again...I'll pass. I don't really care what other people are gossiping about. Most of that is commercialism disguised as opinion. I am not that gullible. ...J.D.

Is this not a violation of our rules. Advertising Facebook on the Club3G... Being that the original poster has been a member here longer than myself, I will show respect and leave this up ... Our club suffers enough without someone coming here trying to steal members... Think about it... I will leave this up to Bitter or Mr Mike What do you guys think ?????

You guys want to chill on a dead forum? That's cool but when you're ready to regroup with the rest of the 3Grs the link is there along with all of the other facebook groups.

The facebook groups are entertaining at best. There are a few knowledgeable folks around but they are way outnumbered by the kids who are just able to afford these cars, who ask the most ridiculous questions.

Thats one users history of questions another member called out, which sounds about right for the current caliber of Eclipse owner now.

Every once in a while you can nab discontinued aftermarket parts. Keeps me entertained at work otherwise.

I find it hilarious seeing forum users debating the age and maturity of Facebook users like how modern kids talk about their grandparents on Facebook
You know how facebook works right? You can literally see the members, what they post and how old they are if you check out their profile. There is no debate :ROFLMAO:.
Most drivers of the car are younger that the car itself now.

The only real reason I would ever need to get back on Facebook is for market place but that isn’t enough for me to wanna get any type of social media. Don’t get me wrong I’m only 36 and I grew up with social media but shit is so toxic and does a number on your mental health always waiting for the next flex post. Plus my car is already over the head of the average person since I’m on a stand-alone ecu. So my questions either go straight to a reputable source or I need to figure them out myself. I’ve found all the knowledgeable people that have committed to the platform either come off a dicks or pretty much shut you down. But I get it….

I am not that hungry for people to talk to. Even on this site you have to ignore some really stupid questions. And just for the record, I am 77. My 3g is just a toy that happened to be left over from my working life. I am a retired engineer. Not really interested in listening to young people venting. Again-- I'll pass.;) ...J.D.

I have to agree with @WhiteSpyder ... it is very frustrating talking to some young know it all who hasn't a clue what he's talking about... But we have to keep in mind that we also were that kid at one time. Five years ago, I did not know a thing about the Mitsubishi... Give me an older small block Chevy engine in a box and I could throw it together in no time. Now with all these sensors and ECUs I am back to square one, but I am learning from you guys and for that reason I plan on staying with Club3G...
