Tire Wheel Automotive tire Automotive lighting Hood

hey, so this is the first time this has happened to me. As you can tell, the inner boot is torn and the grease leaked out, but i don’treally know what’s causing this. First time I replaced it with an OEM Mitsubishi axle. The second time, I went with a duralast gold one, and both of them didn’t last me long. What could be causing this?Does it haveanything to do with the coilovers/ride height?
I have also been trying to find a replacement for the intermediate shaft and the axle carrier, but I can’t find anywhere where I could get those parts. I really need help 😭

Just how low is your car's suspension? BTW, it also looks like the front bushing on your lower control arm is messed up.
To be fair, it is not pretty low. Lower than intended. Was supposed to lower it about 2” not front and rear, but even tho I thought counting all the threads on my adjustable coilovers equally, the rear turned out to be way lower than the front. Since then I haven’t had the chance to readjust it. Let me attach an image.

so the front turned out how I wanted it to be, but not the rears. Do you think that what causing my axles to wear out? On the picture of it, the joint is under an angle, which I heard is not supposed to be.

Other members have mentioned that lowering more than 2" in the front puts more stress on the axles and they wear out faster.
You shouldn't need to replace the intermediate(inside) axle on the passenger side unless the splines somehow got stripped. It is discontinued, btw, so you would have to find a used one if you really need it.
Your Duralast axles are probably covered by a warranty, but if not, RockAuto has a clearance right now on Cardone axles for about $30.

Well, I was really having trouble getting the inner CV joint out of the carrier last time, so I’m asking in case I wouldn’t be able to get this one out too. That’s weird tho, because I have a lot of friends with 3G’s lower than mine with no issues whatsoever. What’s also weird to me, is that the drivers side one is completely fine.

I replaced my axles at 90k, but I haven't lowered it yet. I did not have to replace the intermediate shaft
