I would imagine that removing the sebring's engine would be very similar to removing any other. Disconnect any connections that aren't local to the engine (sensors, battery, fuel lines...etc), remove the radiator, remove the exhaust, remove any other things that look like they might get in the way, disconnect the front suspension, and lower the engine/transmission together...

Everything but the last step. It's easier to just pull it out with a cherry picker from the top.

When I shipped my motor and tranny, I got a pallet from a friend for free (but you could sneak up behind Wal-Mart one day and gank one). I wrapped the motor in a few garbage bags, then bought some straps from Wal-Mart to tie it to the pallet.

I used some online service to find a freight company to come pick it up. It ended up being RL Carriers, but it will be more expensive if you go direct. Just go to Google and search "freight shipping", there are a ton of brokers that will set it all up for you.

This is true. Just unhook all the harnesses and linkages, chain up a cherry-picker, disconnect the mounts and pull it out. It is pretty straight forward.
cool guys thanks for the help... well how much did it cost around to ship that motor?\

Mine went to Colorado from Florida and it was a little over $400.
