4g steering wheel on a 3g?

Hi guys, I know there is a similar question in the forum asking what steering wheels fit the 3g eclipses but there was no particular answer to the 4g steering wheel beeing used in a 3g. I also saw a post a while back saying that some one was able to do this. But I haven't heard anything since and there was never any explanation as to how they accomplished this. I am guessing its not an easy swap but I am pretty determined to do this. Would I need an adapter or something ?

If anything ill just get a 4g steering wheel and experiment and ill post some pics, just would be easier if some one already knows how. Thanks in advance guys.
