Hey guys quick question I'm having a hard time trying to find some reviews on Acer desktop and laptop products and was wondering if you guys know anything about the company. I know they recently purchased Gateway computers but how is the quality on the machines they are usually cheaper than HP computers is it becasue of the name brand HP carries?

I've had my Acer Travelmate 2300 laptop for almost 2.5 years. No issues at all .

A friend of mine had an aced laptop. Had a lot of dead pixels when arrived at his house. If you buy from somewhere that'll help out in situations like that, go for it!
