Aftermarket seat brackets: 2g and 3g same or different?

Ok I have a 2001 GT and I bought some seats for it that require new brackets but, the guy I bought off of only sells 2g brackets, are they the same layout? Or no? I just wanna know cause I would rather purchase the seats brackets from him. If anyone knows please LMK and also I hope this in the right spot

second, no, i dont think theyll fit. i believe the bolt pattern is different.

The 2g uses a smaller bracket. I am 100% sure the 2g brackets will not fit because my little brother has a 98 eclipse and I tried to see if his brackets would fit my car and they were too small.
