I want to get these wheels, but i figured i'd see what you guys think first.
I'm going to be getting them installed and the car dropped at the same time.

They'll be 16 inches.

any opinions?

i had them on my del sol back in the day, i preffer 5 spoke designs on this platform, but to each his own

edit-your getting 16's? why bother wasting your money, its going to look like utter shit, do it right or do it twice, dont even waste your money or time

why skimp out now and redo in the future?

i think i will get the wheels in 18 inch, wait two weeks for another check, and then buy tires.

that being said, what are your guys' opinions?

At minimum, go with 17's. 18's are nice as well. You just got new tires? Take 'em back and either get 17's or 18's.

I think the finish of these wheels work just right on a white pearl 3g. I have not seen any other colored wheel look good against that paint. Now if you were north star white....

Shock isn't this the 3rd or fourth wheel thread you started. Just bump your first one. Anyways, save your money and get the wheels you WANT, not the ones you can afford at the time. You don't need them today or tomorrow, but once you pay for them, you lose at least 20% of the value that minute. Don't impulse shop :noway: Wheels are one of the first things people notice about your car , just take your time and find the right ones.

This is extremely well put, most people just buy the first set they can afford of craigslist or offline, and there is so much more to it, just because they are aftermarket wheels doesnt mean they will look good on your car, take the time to save up a little more money and get the set you KNOW will look good. It may take some extra time, but it will pay off in the end

I commend you on this, and i rarely give +rep to new members but you deserve it with this comment.

Keep them on your stockers as a winter set. Or if your lucky some tire places do accept returns as long as you claim your not satisfied and your buying a different set anyways.

no this is my second post about wheels, a mod closed mine because i put it in the wrong category. but yeah i agree. I'm kind of liking 3dDriven's wheels on his car. It's making me re-think the black wheels.

But yeah I think i will just buy the wheels i want (i can afford whatever) then wait a few weeks and get some tires. Then i'll sell the stock set and make the money for the tires back.

Everything sounds good, but don't get your hopes TOO high. The stock wheels with tires usually go for 200-250. You also have to consider lug-nuts, installation/balance, and maybe an alignment, if you haven't had one in a while.
