Also of note:

The headlight bulbs are 60/55W
If installing higher wattage bulbs, it is highly recommended to upgrade the wiring harnesses.

I just wanted to make a note that "rearview mirror (2) - 194" is incorrect for early 3g. I have a 2000 and ordered 2 194's and they are not what is needed. The bulbs needed have conductors on both sides of the tube which is the light. Im not sure what the correct bulb # or size is.

I'll try to check on the sizes a bit later... but what kind of Eclipse do you drive? Spyder, coupe with sunroof, or coupe without sunroof?

btw, (http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm) this is the site Im planning on getting them from since I bought my interior blue size 74 LED's from there when I changed it out. So one of those should be the correct size. im just unsure which one.

The easiest way to check would be to go to your local automotive parts store (Autozone, Pep Boys, Kragens, etc.) with your bulb, and compare the sizes... That's what I'm going to do when I have some time, since the owner's manual only says "4CP," which is not very useful in trying to order online.


And since there seems to be some discrepancy on the sizes, can anyone with a 2001+ Eclipse please check your bulbs to see if the 168 Wedge Bulb or 194 bulb fit your dome lights?

According to http://www.sylvania.com , the 3G uses 9003 front headlight bulbs.

Anyone know what sizes bulbs are used in the sporty gauge cluster that illuminates the individual gears (1-2-3-4) My #4 is out and I'd like to have the bulb in hand before I pull the cluster out.

another place to get really good L.E.D bulbs is superbrightleds.com ....the ones i got work very well,although i can't give you a bulblife estimate since the ones i have i just got....i have yet to change the ones under the guages(next weekend since the dash will be apart anyway..)but i've changed the cubby hole light in my car and the guage lights in the kenworth i drive for work...they look sweet...and they also offer some of the lights in a wide angle bulb setup..........good selection of colors too

i tried this when i went to get coloured bulbs for there. they werent the right watage and blew out within a few days

My clock pod bulbs and the cubby hole bulb for a 00 Eclipse GT Cali Spec Manual w/ Sunroof were size A37. I bought them from http://www.dav-electronics.com/products.htm . They're supposed to be direct replacement, but I had to file the circuit board a tiny bit for perfect fit. *was looking at wrong bulbs (the one for AC and another smaller one, instead of the two accessed by the back)* Hope I helped.

I also have a 2000 GT with sunroof, the stock bulb is 214-2 in the rearview mirror. You should be able to find replacements for those easily... :eek3:
