Carbon Fiber Parts Ideas

Hey guys, You guys have seen some of the carbon fiber stuff i made and i'm just wrapping up a larger project, i just carbon fibered all of the plastic dash around the shifter and under the armrest. So now i am thinking i would like to make some small parts specifically for the 3G and sell them to you guys at a reasonable price, but first i want ideas of what kind of things you guys would like carbon fibered for the 3G. So far i've seen the exhaust shield on Evos and thought it would be cool if they had that for the 3G. So this is a picture of the Evo exhaust shield, would you guys be interested in buying these if i made them for the 3G? Thanks

fixed the links.
Ya, that would be cool. I would prolly buy one.
I will pay you to do my Fuse Box (under the hood), the shifter ring, and arm rest if you are interested. Then soon after that the pillars, clock pod, and stero bezel.
this is what i'm talking about, i want ideas like this, i want to know what kind of parts you guys are most interested in getting carbon fibered. like the fuse box and i could make a mold for them and make more than one so more of you guys can have these parts. keep the ideas coming and if you think your interested in a part post so i know which ones would be worth mass producing.

Sounds good, and if you need one to work on or test out I would be more then happy to send you mine! It would add a nice " under the hood " touch. Is there anything else under the hood you could think of, because that is where im focused right now!

dude you got alot of finishing to work on. fyi you need to sand flat those waves you have in your pieces. make sure you have enough depth in your resin.
impulseballer, this week i've been working on getting my parts smooth, and getting rid of the waves. I now also put on a few layers of laquer on top so it will have a deep look to it, i will post pictures up in a few days of the newly refined parts. Also some more ideas for parts, would you guys be interested in a carbon fiber plate for behind the license plate?

Already got the cf license plate piece,cf fuse box cover, cf a-pillars, cf clock pod, cf stereo bezel, cf headiner, cf cargo cover,cf arm rest, cf door sills, waiting on my cf door panels to get done from Topshop. Would really like to have a cf cover over the spare tire in the back.
I would love to see if anyone could do the headliner, since my car has all black interior except for the headliner and sun visors!
Absolutely!! Arm rest, clock bezel, and shifter ring
I know that on ebay there are a few carbon fiber gas lids but I would buy one from you.

laquer? hmm most people just use polyester or epoxy resin. that's the best way. eventually when you get good at the finishing you get end results like these (stuff I did):

on pics 1 and 3 you can see the reflection from the light as a perfectly smooth surface. That's what needs to be achieved.

Top shop has a cf headliner with or without a sunroof. Plus they have a fiberglass one too.
that dash looks really good.

They are also around $500 soo :fawk: that. My car is not a show car, it just looks nice and goes even faster, I just simply want to get rid of the tan headliner even if I have to take it out and dye it.
interesting.
maybe some cf for accent parts on the 03+ model door panels, maybe like handle bay (area behind door handle), the insert stripe, the bar on the panel, maybe some vents, speaker covers? idk man, get some ideas floatin around and figure out what looks best
