Awesome, I looked at it and it seemed that easy, but I thought I was tricking myself. The manual says to remove the front motor mount, the splash plate, and then pull out everything. Good to know! Now if it would just stop raining and warm up five or so degrees
I was in the same boat when I replaced my alt. I read the FSM and was like WTF when I saw them talking about the motor mount and splash guard. I gave up and ended up talking it by a stereo shop for the install, thinking it was over my head. 10 minutes and $70 later they had replaced the alt. I then realized that the motor mount and junk didn't need to be messed with. The next time I replaced my alt I did it myself in about 10 minutes. It really is that easy!
