it happened to me too man...i took it out after it and thought about putting gauges in there...but i've just been having a nice hole for like a month now 
Clock pod went blank!!!!
Hey guys like three days ago all of a sudden my clock pod turns off and wont come on anymore is there like a fuse or maybe some wiring that could be at fault
just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what they did to resolve it I took for granted how much I really use that thing!!

its ur fuse its the same one as the cigarette lighter u can locate that on ur left side of the dash just take the cover off and find the fuse that make the cigarette lighter work. It worked for me.
