Stock connecting rods good for how many WHP ?

8-10 PSI with Wiseco pistons and stock connecting rods

Is it a good setup ?

Thanks

Put some ARP rod bolts in and you are good. The stock rods can hold some good power but the bolts suck ass.

CP pistons are superior to the Wiseco's...

Does the connecting rod bearing clearances change at all using the ARP hardware, and is there any modifications to make them work?

You need to have a machine shop install the new hardware and the rods need to be resized. That doesn't mean that the bearing clearances change.

Stock pistons are barely good for around 300whp with a really good tune, but if you are going to force air into your engine, forged pistons are definitely the way to go. We guestimate that stock connecting rods are good to 500whp, but could be more... nobody really knows exactly.

like stated above, you will probably never push enough power through to even have to worry about the rods.
