If they have your remote AND keys then they can still get into your car regardless of the remote.

I would call the dealer, they could probably do something like this with their equipment

What year is the car? I would consider getting new keys and locks done

it's a 2002 GT.
I don't think he knows what kind of car I have and I live in a gated community so the key issue is not that big of a deal. My concern is that if one day I go to the store and he happens to be carrying the remote looking for my car I don't want the remote to work.

I'm thinking it may be something similar to programming a new remote... Maybe press the hazard 8 times or something like that... Does anyone know?
